Restorative Yoga
Slow down, breathe deeply, and let the ropes melt tension from your spine and joints.
Service Description
In this practice, we return to the true essence of Yoga — slowing down, breathing deeply, and listening inward. Using the Kurunta, an ancient wall-rope technique rooted in the Iyengar lineage, the body is gently supported and suspended, allowing gravity to release tension and create space in the joints and spine. Each session unfolds in a calm, meditative rhythm. Movements are slow, mindful, and deeply restorative, inviting the nervous system to settle and the breath to expand naturally. Through pranayama (breathwork), gentle asanas, and moments of stillness, students cultivate interoception — the subtle awareness of what’s happening inside the body. This class is not about effort or performance, but about restoring balance, releasing accumulated stress, and reconnecting to the quiet intelligence of the body. It’s an intimate, grounding experience — a sanctuary for nervous system regulation, deep rest, and embodied presence.
